We are a Youth Friendly Employer

We value young people, they are at the heart of what we do. We know that everyone has to start somewhere, so we offer opportunities with real career development, no matter your background or interest. In relation to this, we were looking to partner with an organisation that aligned with these values.

We met with  Youth Employment UK, an independent, not-for-profit social enterprise focusing on tackling youth unemployment. They offer the Good Youth Employment Charter, holding core principles that we at AEA strongly align with, such as: creating opportunities, recognising talent, fair employment, developing people and encouraging young people to have a voice. The charter is available for organisations that take a proactive step to recognise and appreciate young people. It focuses on the willingness to recruit and develop young people based on their ability, talent and potential, regardless of their background or experience.

Youth Friendly Employer badgeWe are proud to announce that we are now recognised as a Youth Friendly Employer. We have incorporated the Youth Friendly Employer badge into our branding to signify we are an employer who cares. We are proud to be part of an initiative which is considered highly by young people and also recognised by organisations such as Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, BT Group and more. By being a Youth Friendly Employer, we demonstrate our commitment to providing opportunities to young people, regardless of skills or experience. We ensure that all our opportunities offer fair pay, great training and the necessary support required to allow young people to grow.
